Skiing Resort Information

The Squam Lake area is an easy drive to many major ski areas. Easy access to I-93 and less than an hour drive to Loon Mountain Resort, Cannon Mountain, Waterville Valley and Bretton Woods, as well as several smaller mountains.

 
 

Waterville Valley Resort

Waterville Valley is a ski resort in the northeast United States, located in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire. Built on Mount Tecumseh, with a summit elevation of 4,004 feet (1,220 m) above sea level, the ski trails extend to a high point on the south ridge of the mountain at 3,840 feet (1,170 m), offering a vertical drop of 2,020 feet (615 m). The ski area has 11 lifts, including two high-speed quads and is located in the town of the same name. The slopes primarily face east and northeast.

In addition to downhill skiing, the resort offers 46 miles (74 km) of Nordic skiing, plus golf, nationally-ranked tennis courts, a skateboard park, a year-round ice arena, hiking, biking, and water sports.

CaNnon - The Living Legend

is a tribute to the vision of a few men, and the foresight of the New Hampshire Legislature.

Gunstock Mountain Resort

Gunstock Mountain Resort, originally known as Belknap Mountain Recreation Area, is a sports complex located on Gunstock Mountain in Gilford, New Hampshire. Constructed by the Works Progress Administration, it was completed in 1937 and is owned by Belknap County. Activities include alpine and cross-country skiing, snow tubing, ski jumping, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, and skateboarding.

Loon Mountain

Ragged Mountain Resort

Ragged Mountain is a ski resort located on the northern side of Ragged Mountain in Danbury, New Hampshire, in the United States, with a vertical drop of 1,250 feet (380 m) and spread across 250 acres (100 ha). Offering three terrain parks and many glades, the resort is home to the only six-person chairlift in New Hampshire.

SKI BRETTON WOODS

Visit Bretton Woods, New Hampshire's largest ski area with 464 acres of skiing and snowboarding on 62 trails and 35 glades and three terrain parks! Ten lifts, including four high-speed quads, make your ride up the mountain almost as fun as the ride down. If there's snow falling, chances are we've got it - or we can make it with snow-making on 92% of our trails. And, because you'll want to stay on our slopes until after dark, we also offer night skiing and riding.

Campton Mountain Ski Area

As one of the many amenities of the Waterville Estates community, built in 1969 at 1,505 feet elevation, with 313 feet of vertical terrain, Campton Mountain Ski Area is a true vintage New Hampshire ski facility.

With three main trails (beginner, intermediate and expert) averaging 1,550 feet in length, accessed by the original Swiss made 1969 Städeli compact double chairlift, custom, locally engineered beginners rope tow, there is just enough terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
